The Darwin Awards is a morbid contestant that ranks and names winners for the most outrageous ways that people die. Dead people is an adherently morbid subject but after reading the 2008 candidates you may find a humorous side to dead people.
Candidate 1:
Just last month a Bulgarian biology teacher was coming home from a funeral. Her and her husband reportedly stopped in the road, ran to a man hole and poured some unknown chemicals down the drain. People think the chemicals were making them dizzy in the car. The chemical reaction caused an explosion, which decapitated her.
Candidate 2:
A 50-year-old New York man went bird hunting with friends and his dog. His dog found a deer leg bone and brought it back to his master. The man tried pulling the bone out of the dog’s mouth. Not having any luck he began swinging the butt end of his shotgun at the dog. The butt hit the ground, went off in his stomach and killed him.
Candidate 3:
A 23-year-old Pennsylvania man who had many body piercings decided to attach his piercings to workplace electrical equipment. After being warned not to, he did it. He was electrocuted to death.
- It is amazing how many dead people die from avoidable accidents. Famous people are not an exception to this rule either. Be safe so you don't wind up with one of these awards.
